AT SHEAR CUT, OUR HAIR STYLISTS ARE ALL ABOUT YOUR RESULTS….
Since 1979, Shear Cut Salon has brought progressive hair services to Norwalk, CT. and the Fairfield County Area. In this time, our hair salon’s experience and reputation has grown synonymously with leading trends in the industry. Owner, Tina Torraco, attributes the success of Shear Cut to our Aveda salon’s strong team approach, as well as personalized guest communication. Education, skill perfecting and team recruitment are ongoing. “We have and will continue to create volumes of great hair, it’s what we love and do best.”

Tina
loves being a hairdresser. Her passion is cutting and coloring of all kinds. She has spent many years working and perfecting her skills with leading industry artists . She loves transforming hair with scissors or razors , short , long or anything in between . On her days off from being owner and boss lady you can find her taking more hair classes , gardening or cooking .
Tom
can be found at Shear Cut jamming out while doing fabulous hair. He loves music and singing along while creating. Tom has studied with many top industry artists. Besides haircutting Tom is a natural with color of all kinds and is extremely knowledgeable with correction of “ color gone bad” . On his days off you’ll most likely find him in the garden or riding his bicycle .
Jordana
is a great communicator. She is well versed in color and excels in blonding and fun fashion colors. She is an outgoing person. When she’s not behind the chair she’s on the road educating hairdressers about color. Jordana approaches most haircuts dry to get a better glimpse of how the “hair lives.”
In her spare time she’s usually helping others in one way or another.
Kevon
practices both barbering and hairdressing . He’s a fun guy to be around . His strength in clipper cutting is unparalleled. He enjoys all facets of the hairdressing industry. He is a former US Navy veteran and graduate of renowned Toni & Guy academy . When he’s not behind the chair he’s usually doing something with his three girls. Girl dads rock!
Rosalia
is the extra set of hands in the salon. She gives the best shampoos and head massage! She comes via Venezuela where she was a massage therapist as well as a hairdresser . Rosalia has a magic touch and clients love her. She consistently helps us all on a daily basis. When she’s not working she’s busy cooking something wonderful for all to enjoy.
Mare
is the concierge of Shear Cut , she’s the one who books your appointment (for some the entire year , yes we book out that far) making it seem effortless. She’s always the voice you’ll hear when you call the salon, she goes above and beyond to see that your needs are met. In her spare time she’s usually reading a fun book .
